^After their initial surprise, the Germans start to realize that they are facing 
^a serious threat in Normandy.  Although Hitler first insists on holding the 
^12th SS-Panzer and the Panzer-Lehr elite divisions in reserve for the "real"
^invasion, which he expects is still to come in the Pas de Calais, you are facing
^the entire German 7th and 15th Army. Those two Army groups are under command 
^of Fieldmarshal Rommel, and outnumber your 155,000 men on French soil 2-to-1.
^The OKW has also ordered a number of divisions to be moved up from the South
^of France to crush the invasion pocket... Among those the 2nd SS-Panzer from
^Toulouse, 17th SS-Panzer from the Loire Valley, 77th Infantry from St Malo and
^the 3rd Fallschirm from Brittany.
^It is critical that you reinforce your troops quickly before the Germans can 
^bring in enough forces to retake the beaches.  Another critical goal is to cut
^off the Cotentin Peninsula and trap the German forces in Cherbourg to the North
^West, so you can later capture that crucial harbor.
